Free CEUs

Lingraphica – multiple AAC and Aphasia topics, a combination of on demand and live webinars.
Bright Ideas Media – SLP Summit runs in January & July, and offers 6-8 hours free ($29 fee for using CE Registry). They also offer occasional conferences.
Lavi Institute – offers 1 free supervision and 1 free ethics course (same courses as CEU Smart Hub/)
BiLinguistics – offers 4 free CEU courses and other free materials
Leader’s Project– offers several courses that are several hours long
SLP NerdCast – offers 4 free CEU courses as a trial
SATPAC – a free 6 hour webinar recording on speech sound disorders (Note: You may not take any of the .3 ASHA CEUs courses offered from SATPAC Speech and this course in the same ASHA reporting period)
- SATPAC – 3 hour course on their articulation program
The Informed SLP – 2 free CEUs per year – this site does quick, 5-10 minute research reviews and quizzes you on them for credit
SpeechPathology.com – 1 free CEU as a trial
childapraxiatreatment.org – They have two online courses for a total of 1 CEU, and also offer a free 2-day in-person workshop that travels around the US. Check their schedule to see if there is one coming to a location near you.
Passy-Muir – many recorded and live CEU opportunities on tracheostomies and valves
ThickIt – one hour webinar
https://www.interactivemetronome.com/ondemand-course-library – several categories of on demand courses, looks like some are just PDH and some are reportable to ASHA
Interactive Metronome – same company as above – scroll to the bottom for free CEU courses
Online Medical Education – UWSMPH Dept of Surgery – as of writing this post there are 8 CEUs offered on Voice and Swallow
Ablenet Inc – lots of CEU courses, including live, free as far as I can tell
Tobi Dynavox – multiple tracheostomy on demand webinars
ASHA Supervision Courses – 2 free courses
PRC – Several free live courses on AAC
AAC Learning Journey – combination of free and paid CEUs
Saltillo – has several 1 hr live trainings for free
Presence: has 3 free courses including Culturally Competent Practices

Low-cost CEUs

SpeechTherapyPD.com – free course on literacy but $15 to report CEU to ASHA – subscription plans range from $79-$189/year
Stuttering Foundation – has a catalog of CEUs based on their materials. Has options for CEU assessment only or CEU + materials. CEU assessment only seems to be $10 regardless of length of program.
ASHA Perspectives – If you have an SIG, you can purchase an assessment for it for $5. All SIGs are included in the Learning Pass.
Home CEU Connection – currently 153 on-demand and live courses: $16/hour on-demand, $30/hour live or $147 unlimited
PDH Therapy – 3 multi-hour on-demand courses for $7/hour, self-study courses $10/hour
PD Resources – Looks like $10/hr + $9 fee
Relias Academy – $15-20/hr or All Access for $249/year
SRA Lab – $40/1.5 hr for on-demand and live webinars or $250/year for unlimited access
Summit Education $49/hour or subscription plans starting at $269/year
SLP Nerdcast – offers free CEU courses with $9-12/hr processing fee; memberships starting at $99/year

Subscriptions

MedBridge – over 800 courses, including live webinars, for $170 the first year.
Apraxia Kids – offers an unlimited subscription for $125/year with more than 50 webinars in their catalog
ASHA Learning Pass – ASHA touts over 800 courses, including live webinars, for $144/year. ASHA also has a stipulation for those under financial hardship for brief access for free: Financial Hardship form
SpeechPathology.com – $129/year for unlimited courses, including on demand and live webinars. My last search listed 685 ASHA courses. I’ve been a member for several years and have never run out of interesting options
The Informed SLP – summarizes research for you, and you get the CEUs. Choose pediatrics or adults for $12/mo or both for $19/mo.

Conferences & Seminars

Local conferences often offer several days of CEUs for a lower cost if you don’t need a room.
Northern Speech – appears to charge around $30 per CEU hour, no membership. Has monthly specials and a bundle deal.
ANCDS – has live webinars $50 each or free for membership of $120/year, also has conferences for additional cost.
Ciao Seminars – offers live and on-demand seminars $210 for 7.5 hours
Education Resources Inc – Live and on-demand webinars seem to be roughly $30 per credit hour
